About Black Boar
The sword has a central place in European, British and indeed Scots history and the study of its use was sophisticated, scientific and deadly effective. Swordsmanship was a highly prized art. Black Boar Swordsmanship offers you the chance to learn these very same arts.
This martial art is exciting, energertic and skilful, but also rooted in our martial heritage. So if the chance to hold a sabre or smallsword and learn how to use it properly is something you have an interest in and you live in Fife, Cheshire or Edinburgh, you now have the chance to do so.

We have already filled the initial spaces for the Hownam gathering in May. However we are already looking to expand the event next year so watch this space.
