Welcome to Black Boar!

About Black Boar

The sword has a central place in European, British and indeed Scots history and the study of its use was sophisticated, scientific and deadly effective. Swordsmanship was a highly prized art. Black Boar Swordsmanship offers you the chance to learn these very same arts.

This martial art is exciting, energertic and skilful, but also rooted in our martial heritage. So if the chance to hold a sabre or smallsword and learn how to use it properly is something you have an interest in and you live in Fife or Edinburgh, you now have the chance to do so.

Black Boar is always looking for new students

If you are interested or even think you might be interested in learning how to use historical European swords please do get in touch.  We are always keen to spread our passion and knowledge.  And remember the first class is free.
