If you do not have a car or live in Cupar itself, the town is reasonably well served by public transport. The town is on the main trainline from Edinburgh to Dundee and trains run regularily, which stop at most town and villages in between, indeed the classes are timed so the instructor can himself catch the trains to and from Edinburgh. There are also regular buses into Cupar from St Andrews, Glenrothes, Dundee and other nearby towns.

The Calton Centre is located on Montgomery Street, just off Easter road. The centre has recently been fully refurbished and contains changing rooms, lockers and showers. It is convenient for public transport from London Road and Elm Row to most parts of the city and is only 10 minutes walk from Waverly Station.
